Dr. Thanong Bidaya, Ph.D. 1977, the former Finance Minister of Thailand and the new President of Northwestern Alumni of Thailand, together with the Thai Alumni, congratulated Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak, Ph.D. 1984, the newly appointed Finance Minister. His term will be four years. He is the second Kellogg Finance Minister. Dr. Bidaya was the Finance Minister in 1997 during the financial crisis.
