TMP 1997

Julie Schwab and her husband Joe welcomed another baby boy, Brian Russell, to their family. He's a "little peanut" who weighed 6 pounds, 4 ounces and was just 19 inches long. "When asked if he liked his new little brother, big brother David replied ŒYep.' Guess that's about as ringing an endorsement as we can expect."

Kim Anderson and her husband Tom had their second daughter. Hannah Grace was born on August 2. "Life is a little crazy with two in diapers, but that's what happens when you say you want to finish grad school before you have children!"

Frank and Liz Pinn had a baby girl August 10. Her name is Mary Beth. Liz and Frank are really enjoying being parents. Liz has returned to her job in marketing at Hewitt Associates.

Stephanie and Kris Kargel gave birth to a daughter, Savannah Logan Kargel, on August 10.

Damon Barglow and his wife, Beth, are parents of a baby boy, Rafael David, born Oct. 4. "He is already an accomplished smiler and, if we wedge him in a corner, he can even sit up -- clearly destined for greatness."

Just in time for Northwestern's homecoming, Joseph Michael Patronik was born on Oct. 14. Mary Scott Patronik and her husband, Tim, are both loyal NU alums. Mary is continuing her leave of absence from IBM, raising Joey and his brother, Andrew. Erik Britt-Webb and his wife Laurel had daughter Morgan Claire Britt-Webb on Oct. 26, in Boston. Kerry Satterwhite and her husband Ross are proud to announce the birth of their son, Colin Ross Satterwhite on Dec. 20. "We are adjusting to parenthood quite well. Santa came early for us with Colin. He was due Feb. 4 but arrived 6 weeks early in good health."

Mike Ostaffe and his wife Karen had triplets on Feb. 24. They are Kathryn Anne (5 lbs., 4 oz.), Michael Thomas (4 lbs., 13 oz.) and Alexander Hays (4 lbs., 13 oz.). In his work, Mike has joined the knowledge management team within A.T. Kearney's Centers of Excellence. John Reid is a principal with DiamondCluster and he is living in St. Louis with his wife, Paula. "No kids yet."

Mary Henry and her family have relocated to Boston, where she is still working for UCentric Systems.

Todd Denison was promoted to general manager of environmental and public health business for Underwriters Laboratories in Northbrook, Ill. He previously had the position of director of global marketing.

After leading $2.3 billion acquisition of the Iams Company as a brand manager at P&G, Jay Woffington founded Adternity. Adternity, which received its first round of funding during the depth of the dot-com crash, creates applications that integrate advertising into online activities.

We finally had another TMP alumni happy hour on Feb. 9. Anyone wishing to be included in future happy hour plans should drop me a line.
