TMP 1995

Patrick Garot left the strategy department of Philip Morris in 1996 to become a writer. After his first novel was shopped around Manhattan (unsuccessfully), Pat decided to write screenplays.

Five years later, his first feature is entering production. Co-written with Danish director Rune Bendixen, Making Fabulous is about two young L.A. twins who pawn all they own to shoot a "making of" video. But when they get to the set, they're astounded to learn that the underlying film, a new version of Shakespearešs Hamlet, is cast with a group of aging porno stars!

Undeterred, the twins sabotage production, figuring that comedic foul-ups might sell their video to a bloopers show. But when the film's director dies in an accident the twins kind of caused, our kids step up...and make Fabulous a beautiful, legit Hamlet that enriches the cast, and themselves.
