EMP-39

Great News: John Erickson was the recipient of a successful cornea transplant in his left eye on August 14. John comments that while his vision is still changing as he adjusts, his uncorrected vision now is much better than it was before with glasses. John is out skiing and loving Colorado again. Awesome, baby!

People on the move: Terri Herrington is living in London and updated us on all on what she misses most. "Thanksgiving didn't feel right this year, but our daughter came over for the week so I took some time off and that made it feel more like a holiday. We even cooked a turkey dinner. But I really missed the football!"

Martha Schlicher writes: "I moved into the role of regional business director for the Midwest for Monsanto about 18 months ago, assuming sales and marketing responsibilities for our agriculture, chemical, seed and trait businesses. It is a big change from research, regulatory or strategy, but the people are great and there is never a dull moment. Somebody has to go out and earn that money that (fellow EMP-39 teammate) Andy Kuchan is promising to all of our investors!"

Jim Brenn was promoted to CFO of Briggs and Stratton Corp shortly after graduation and has been splitting his time between Wisconsin and the rest of the Briggs facilities worldwide.

Dr. Robert Kim has really enjoyed his life since graduation. He was married last year and has spent significant time traveling the world. Next designation, New Zealand in March.

Anne Marie MacPherson has moved to Seattle and is one of the top executives working for Goodwill of Seattle. Seattle is home for Anne, and she has been as busy as ever. She bought a home, spends her spare time outdoors skiing and hiking with her family, and even meet "the one," although he works in Hawaii and she commutes there on weekends! American Airlines must love that woman.

Tim Wulf changed jobs and now works as manufacturing manager at Faustel Inc, a capital equipment manufacturer of laminating and converting equipment.
