Hello, friends! Katie here, with assistance from Alisa reminding me about our deadline. I'm still in the Orlando area doing marketing and market research for primarily consumer products clients. Thad '87 continues to help companies in the Internet software world and our three kids keep us happily glued to those oh-so-comfortable bleacher seats and elementary school chairs for their various activities. In short, all's well and we hope that's the same for you too.

I've decided that interviewing brothers of classmates may be a risky way to gather newsŠfor the alum, that is!

According to her brother, Ellen Brumback Allen is married to a professional wrestler and has 10 children. Actually, Ellen is married to Lindsey Allen, a CFO at Circuit Works Corp. They met at brother Charlie and Kim Brumback's wedding. Ellen has two boys, Andrew (5th grade) and Mitchell (2nd grade). They live in Lake Bluff, Ill. Their house is also home to a Rhodesian Ridgeback named Rhosie who trains Ellen with her daily walks.

I am grateful to Betsy Curtis Van Loon's tile man. While he made repairs, Betsy was stuck at home and so had time for a wonderful note. She reports that after eight years of slow and steady work, she completed her Master's degree at Hartford Seminary. "It was a great experience and I enjoyed every class. I wish I could say that Kellogg helped prepare me for 'Introduction to Theology,' but that would be less than truthful! My thesis did draw on both my business experience and seminary training. I developed a model describing the integration of faith and work life for people in for-profit businesses. I will be presenting my material to a group of doctoral students soon. It will be interesting to see what they think. I am not sure what the current market is for theologians with MBAs. Would love to hear from anyone who shares my interest in faith and work life," she adds.

Betsy lives with her husband, Peter, and their two children, Elizabeth (12) and Jacob (7). Peter is a commander for the U.S. Navy. On the civilian side, Peter works for EDS out of Texas, with a home office in Conn. You can reach Betsy at ECVANLOON@AOL.COM Kenny Potrock writes that things in Florida couldn't be better. He's doing some really fun work with Disney World including Super Bowl Halftime Shows, launching new theme parks and creating new Disney vacation products. 'It's really been an amazing experience," he says. Kenny is married and has a son, Grif (5). A belated congratulations to Dave Hadsell and Cheryl who welcomed a baby girl, Maria, on July 9. Brothers Luke (5) and Alex (3) are helping hold down the fort in their Evergreen, Colo., home.

Mike Powers has been appointed vice president of sales and marketing, Midwest region, for VEIL Interactive technologies. Formerly, Mike was the vice president/account director for Impiric-Chicago. If you have never fessed up to what you are doing or where you are, now's the time! We'd love to hear from you.
