A vibrant MOSAIC

Kellogg students revel in the richness of their community during MOSAIC Week, an annual celebration of diversity

4/25/2012 - There’s no shortage of diversity at the Kellogg School, whose students hail from around the world and every conceivable cultural background.

This richness – so much a part of the Kellogg experience – took center stage April 6-14 during MOSAIC Week, the Kellogg School's celebration of diversity on campus.

The annual event offers students an abundance of activities through which to enjoy Kellogg’s diversity. Highlights this year included an international ad review, global cooking classes and a "Bollywood Bash," as well as panel discussions about global business and the "It Gets Better" movement.

"Initiatives like MOSAIC are key to providing the platform to talk about global issues — issues that matter," Associate Dean of MBA Programs Betsy Ziegler told students. “I would like to encourage each of you to live each week like it is MOSAIC Week.

"Continue to expand your circle of friends, and get to learn what people believe in and the previous experiences that helped shaped those beliefs. Fueling and leveraging this energy, curiosity and vibrancy will make all of us better leaders."
