Kellogg Superbowl Advertising Review

Dear ,

Each year, the best teams from the National Football League compete in the Super Bowl, America’s marquee sporting event. And each year the Kellogg School of Management turns this event into an extraordinary learning opportunity for its students.

Because Super Bowl is also a showcase for top global brands to run their most innovative marketing plays, millions of people tune in to watch the action on the field — and off, including the commercials.

And why not? Costing millions for a 30-second spot, there’s a lot of pressure on these ads to deliver results.

Sometimes they do, sometimes they don’t, according to the Kellogg marketing faculty and students who take a hard look at what’s aired to score the brand winners and losers.

Now in its sixth year, the Kellogg Super Bowl Advertising Review provides a great forum for academic collaboration — a Kellogg hallmark — giving students a real-world marketing context to apply what they’ve learned in class. The Kellogg team uses a rigorous framework developed by our faculty to analyze the commercials along six key dimensions, and then ranks the results to determine the brand champs.

The Super Bowl Advertising Review, along with a complementary faculty blog and videos, offers an engaging exploration of today’s most innovative marketing ideas.

In fact, the Kellogg team is making headlines in media outlets around the world and bringing its thought leadership to an audience eager to learn what Kellogg experts think.

Whether or not you’re a football fan, you’ll find a whole new dimension to the big game when you explore it through the Kellogg Super Bowl Advertising Review!

Sincerely,

Beth Flye
Assistant Dean, Director of Admissions and Financial Aid
