In the curriculum

Kellogg offers many courses that are experiential by nature.

These classes often include a travel component, bringing students to see and contribute to the work of social impact on the ground and in person.

Beyond the curriculum

Outside of the curriculum and classroom, Kellogg students step into impact experiences by engaging in pro bono consulting projects both locally and internationally, business plan development, impact investing and case competitions.


Social Impact at Kellogg School of Management offers travel and experience beyond the curriculum“Treks” allow students to explore career opportunities in the impact space on the east and west coasts, and more. Kellogg students love to travel to learn, experience and make a difference.

Net Impact

I was fortunate enough to travel with a group of students to Douentza, Mali, to conduct a project gap analysis with our NEF counterparts, seeing in person where our research fell short and where our public health interventions could have a lasting, powerful impact.
