MEF is a supplementary education program which promotes the personal and educational development of Chicago inner-city children from 4th - 12th grades with the collaboration of parents, teachers and volunteers.  The programs empower academically middle-range inner-city children to develop into upright, college-educated individuals who serve family and community. 
The Off the Street Club www.otsc.org Off The Street Club is the oldest Club for boys and girls in Chicago.  For 108 years, OTSC has provided a safe haven and innovative programming for the needy children of the west side.  The Club currently offers a broad array of educational, recreational, cultural and social programs that serve hundreds of at-risk children each day and several thousand each year.  Off The Street Club is the reward for so many courageous inner-city children who say no to gangs and drugs and who embrace the timeless values taught at our organization.
