We are delighted to share a special edition of Kellogg@Work with you, dedicated to the Kellogg Administrative Team Rewards & Recognition Program.

We hope you enjoyed the recent Rewards & Recognition Ceremony, the red-carpet event held on September 25 to publicly recognize the winners of the school’s most prestigious administrator awards. This issue highlights the award winners, each of whom received $1,000, professional/community development opportunities and Kellogg merchandise, among other prizes. Going forward, we will host the awards ceremony in the spring, and we encourage you to be on the lookout for upcoming nomination opportunities.

This awards ceremony is just one component of the Rewards & Recognition Program. This initiative is designed to formally identify, celebrate and reward Kellogg administrative teams and individuals making exceptional contributions that are aligned with Kellogg’s core competencies and values, and that further drive the school’s strategic plan.

The Rewards & Recognition Committee is first focused on implementing several school-wide initiatives, including the awards ceremony and the Fall Day of Learning, which will begin in 2013 and provide valuable professional development and relationship building opportunities for all Kellogg administrators. Next, the committee will develop initiatives for administrators at the unit, team and individual levels.

FUN FACT:

A cross-functional team of Kellogg administrators is collaborating on a comprehensive onboarding program to ensure new administrators experience a cohesive, dynamic and welcome introduction to our community. More than 40 Kellogg administrators participated in the internal assessment process, and the task force is now moving into the program design phase.
