Employment Statistics | 2004
Overview
The 2003-2004 school year provided the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University with our first glimpse at what seems to be an improving job market. Although the environment was still challenging, our Kellogg School students did quite well in connecting with the employers of their choice. We also think that you, our recruiters, succeeded in getting your choice of the finest MBA students in the world by coming to Kellogg.
We started to see consulting and banking employment needs creep back up. Additionally, there remained a strong interest in our students from product goods and manufacturing companies who have continued to recruit at Kellogg during the leanest of times.
If there was a trend, it was the growing interest in healthcare related fields and general management/leadership development programs.
We are happy that the Kellogg School students graduate and do so well in so many organizations. We look forward to continuing to develop our relationship with your organization in the coming year and providing a positive experience for you and the students.
Thank you for your support, from all of us in the Kellogg School of Management Career Management Center.
