Applying to Kellogg

We encourage applications from all qualified persons interested in the study of management. Individuals holding a bachelor's degree or its equivalent from an accredited college or university are eligible for consideration. Prior study in business or economics is not a requirement for admission. It is highly recommended, however, that students complete courses in calculus and statistics prior to entrance.

The following are required for application:

  • Data form, essays, and resume
  • Academic transcripts from all colleges universities and professional schools attended
  • Official results from the GMAT and TOEFL, if applicable
  • 2 Career Progress Survey reports from individuals able to evaluate job performance, one preferably your manager
  • Honor Code
  • $225 application fee
  • Interview request, made by submitting Part I of the Kellogg application for off-campus interviews; OR by calling the Office of Admissions to schedule an on-campus interview after submitting Part 1 of the application. Chicago area applicants must interview off-campus, unless applying to the JD-MBA program.

We look forward to receiving your application.

Application Announcements

Feb. 8, 2008
  • The Office of Admissions has extended the on-campus interview deadline for Round 2 applicants to March 14, 2008.  If you are a Round 2 applicant and have not yet scheduled your on-campus interview, it is strongly recommended that you contact the Office of Admissions to make your appointment.

Please note that Round 3 applicants who wish to interview on-campus may call to schedule your interview at any time, but may not interview until after March 14, 2008.

Jan. 23, 2008
  • Due to the volume of requests, we recommend that Round 2 candidates planning to conduct an on-campus interview, schedule their appointments through the Office of Admissions as soon as possible.  Please remember that Chicago area applicants are required to request an off-campus interview.

  • The Office of Admissions is currently in the process of assigning interviews to Round 2 applicants who have requested an off-campus interview.  Please allow 4-6 weeks as we continue with the matching process.

  • The Kellogg School will no longer offer feedback sessions for applicants that have been denied admission.
