Independent Study Projects for Entrepreneurship

Submit a one- or two-page summary of your project

The Levy Institute for Entrepreneurial Practice receives numerous project proposals each year. We ask that you send a one or two page description of the project you have in mind. These are then distributed to the students before the first class of each quarter.

For the most part, students have ideas of their own that they are eager to use as the basis for writing business plans. From time to time, however, a team becomes interested in an outside proposal and decides to use it as their project, often with great success.

Unfortunately, the number of proposals being considered at the start of each quarter has grown and it is not possible to get back to you with the results. Rather, we ask you to understand that contact by a student team indicates some interest. If no group contacts you, you should assume that the students decided to pursue other ideas, but you may decide to submit a proposal for the following quarter.

We very much regret our inability to give each proposal more individual attention. Your interest is greatly appreciated.
