Chithra: Part-Time MBA Saturday Program In this Kellogg School of Management video, student Chithra Perumal shows us why business and finance expertise is important to her as a consultant, how business is about the change it can bring in people's lives, and why Kellogg is the right place for her. |
The Saturday Program is an excellent option for anyone who lives outside the Chicago area and for Chicago area residents whose work or travel schedules would interfere with evening classes.
In the Saturday Program:
- Your classes start in June - the summer quarter
- You will start the program as a cohort class - taking the core curriculum in your first year
- The classes meet on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
- You can take up to three courses per quarter
- Quarters are 10 weeks long with an additional week of finals
- You will take your electives in the second and third years
- You can complete the program in 2 - 5 years; the average time to complete is 3 years
- The three most popular majors are offered: Finance, Management & Strategy, and Marketing. However students can add to or substitute classes for other majors in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, International Business, Managerial Economics, and Management & Organizations.
- If your schedule is flexible, you may take evening classes that are not included in the Saturday program course structure, leading to additional options for majors that might not be offered in the Saturday Program.
