The Evening Program is ideal for students who live in the Chicago area (including areas of Wisconsin and Indiana) and are available to attend classes on weeknights.
In the Evening Program:
- You may start classes in any quarter (fall, winter, spring, or summer)
- You can take up to three courses per quarter
- You can complete the program in 2 to 5 years; the average time to complete is 3 years
- These classes meet on weekday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; one class is one evening per week for three hours
- Quarters are 10 weeks long with an additional week of finals
- You can take courses offered on Saturdays
- You will choose from the 19 majors
Program Structure

Build Your Kellogg MBA from 19 Majors
Once you have completed the core, you have many options for completing the full 20.5 courses required for graduation. You might choose majors that relate directly to your current job, or you might focus on subjects that will allow you to explore new career paths. As an Evening Program student, you will have the flexibility to build an MBA from the 19 majors.
Most students choose to pursue two majors, but your options are open and range extensively across academic disciplines, professional programs, and interdisciplinary majors. Regardless of your choice, in every major area of study you’ll experience the high level of academic excellence found only at top-tier business school like the Kellogg School of Management.
