The Kellogg School has designed its program for high-level executives with substantial experience in management. The typical class has representatives from firms of various sizes — from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses — as well as from public and nonprofit organizations.

In addition to academic promise, the admissions committee considers these factors:

  • What are the candidate’s personal and professional experiences that will contribute to the diversity of the classroom?
  • Does the candidate have a position of executive responsibility that will make the program a stepping-stone in his or her career?
  • Does the candidate’s organizational sponsor believe that he or she has outstanding promise and potential within the organization?
  • Are the candidate and the sponsoring organization committed to the two-year responsibility for attending classes and preparing assignments?
The admissions committee seeks to assemble cohorts of professional peers with diverse backgrounds and skills.
