Kellogg Doctoral Program
PhD Overview

The Kellogg School offers frequent opportunities for students to collaborate on research projects with faculty and fellow doctoral students and to co-author publications with them. By the time students reach the dissertation stage, they will have a thorough understanding of their subject. They will also be able to identify opportunities for new frameworks and insights, and the technical ability to turn those opportunities into published research.
Kellogg seeks candidates who have the will and desire to do scholarly research. A previously earned graduate degree or work experience is not required for admission. Most students finish the program in four to five years of full-time study — a serious commitment. Part-time or distance-learning study is not available.
