For the second straight year, Denise Akason, a lecturer and assistant director in the real estate management program at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Chicago, has used this survey as part of her course materials for a class, Sustainable Real Estate Development. The course introduces graduate students to various commercial real estate green concepts, ranging from government incentives and standards such as LEED to the marketing of environmentally friendly projects.
