Print Overview
Jason R. Pierce earned his B.S. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his Ph.D. from Indiana University. In his research, Jason focuses on three general areas: deception in negotiations, cross-cultural organizational behavior, and discretionary employee behavior. To date, he has conducted a number of studies in which he has been able to link cultural values with deceptive bargaining tactics. He seeks to integrate these findings with his work in his other areas of interest to understand which people will be more likely to lie for or against their organizations in work-related contexts.

In addition to his academic experience, Jason has also worked professionally in both industrial and academic settings. These experiences include technical and managerial positions in the U.S. and abroad as an expatriate.
