GIM China

GIM trip to China

Global Initiatives in Management (GIM)

Brazil, South Africa, Turkey, and India are just some of the nations you might study and visit for the Kellogg School's Global Initiatives in Management (GIM) program.

Offered each winter term, GIM combines teamwork and classroom discussion with international travel. You'll begin the course with nine weeks of group work on a research project of your choice, then spend two weeks meeting with business leaders and government officials in the country you're studying. Finally, you'll present your findings to your peers during spring term.

One group recently traveled to Argentina to study micro-lending there. Another studied e-commerce in Thailand, and a third examined the process of marketing consumer leisure products to young adults in China. The possibilities are boundless — and borderless.

The GIM program is open to all Kellogg MBA students, regardless of major or program format. And because the course requires only two weeks of travel, it's an ideal option for Part-Time and Executive MBA students with busy work schedules.
